At J. van Esch, a targeted approach was chosen: a single 160 kW Voltra all-in-one charger, ready for immediate use on their own premises.
All in one cabinet
With an all-in-one unit, the power electronics and charging points are housed in the same enclosure. This means no separate power unit, no cable routing to stand-alone dispensers and a significantly shorter installation time. For a site with one or two electric vehicles, this is the most direct route to a working charging point, requiring less infrastructure, lower installation costs and quicker commissioning.
160 kW: tailored to the operation
At 160 kW, a lorry can recharge sufficiently for its next journey during a standard stop. The power output has been deliberately tailored to the current fleet and the available mains connection, rather than to a theoretical maximum. This ensures that the investment remains proportionate to usage.
With this installation, J. van Esch has removed the barrier to electric transport: a reliable charging point on its own premises, ready for the next step.
